Knowing about Search Engine rankings is part of my job, so I am excited to note that on the search terms “Greg+Selena”, this site is now the #1 ranked site by Google, MSN and Yahoo.
Who, you may be asking, got bumped from the top perch? Well, it may have been
- Greg Balazich and his daughter Selena‘s racing photo gallery
- Selena and Greg Hudson‘s wedding in Hawaii website.
- Greg and Selena McLaurin, owners of Mack’s West restaurant in Hattiesburg, MS
- Or most notably, the movie “Selena”, directed by Gregory Nava
How do you move into the top spot? It’s through two main avenues. First, your website needs to include the search terms in the content, and we refer to each other’s names, Greg and Selena, on this blog all the time.
Second, you need to be frequently visited, which, relative to the other options listed above, we are — thanks to you. So a thanks to all of you who read this blog and visit this site, you’ve helped make us #1, and it doesn’t really matter, but it’s nice all the same.
