I love Pride and Prejudice. The movie, the BBC series, the book… Greg caught part of the Kiera Knightly Pride and Prejudice, I think, Kiera Knightly being the keyword that got him to come anywhere near it. Afterwards he asked, “Why on earth would anyone own a 10-hour extended version of this when they can just get the two hour movie?”
Ironically, Greg owns every extended version of Lord of the Rings, of which one movie (his version) is almost 3/4 the length of the entire BBC series. And while having the extra four hours of the BBC mini series goes further in-depth into key plot points and character developement of the timeless classic otherwise missing from the movie, let me tell you the basic gist of the extra footage of the Lord of the Rings…

I would also like to point out, that I don’t think Greg has even watched all of his special features on the LOTR, so I’m not sure if he even knows about Orlando mohawk and how “cool” it was that they all have tattoos of elvin numbers. But he does stand by the fact that LOTR extended edition is soooooooo much more worth it than Pride and Prejudice!

Well, Selena, cracking nuts again I see! Lord of the Rings is great! The only thing thats uncool is the uncomfortable love thing between Sam and Frodo. Whats Elvish for “Homophobia”. Speaking of which, Any man who watches Pride and Prejudice should join Sam and Frodo in their new adventure Lord of the “O” Ring.

I love Pride & Prejudice! I own two copies of the BBC series and the Keira Knightley version. So far, I have not been able to justify buying the newest version of the BBC series.
