The escalators at Rockville Metro were under construction for most of 2006. Nothing appeared to be wrong with the previous escalators, but someone in a position of power must have decided that at night they don’t sound enough like humpback whales conversing. Now after six months of construction, as you approach the Rockville Metro, you can hear through the night air the whaling and bemoaning cries coming from the brand-spankin’ new escalators.
Maybe it Dora from Finding Nemo….Hhhhheeeeeellllllllooooooww!
Okay, now for the past two nights I could not stop thinking about Dora while on those escalators. it makes me smile when I am normally grimacing. Thanks Scott.
