…whether Taye Diggs would get frustrated trying to explain his metaphysical situation and just reference how it’s similar to that movie Groundhog’s Day, except not funny, and in LA (and one of those LA quarries… that are apparently abundant).
ABC has cancelled Daybreak due to low ratings. They are not showing the remaining episodes, but immediately filling the time slot with reruns of The George Lopez Show.
Daybreak was a filler itself, occupying time while we wait for the LOST producers to figure out how to be interesting and suspenseful again, yet Selena and I got very invested in this new cop drama. Not since the pre-mature cancellation of Undeclared have we felt the loss of a potentially good show that wasn’t given enough time to find it’s audience.
Farewell, Daybreak, we hardly knew ye!
That’s too bad. I didn’t get into the show, but I think Taye Diggs is talented and I hope he finds something soon that sticks.
And Undeclared rocks my world! It’s on my Amazon wish list…hint! hint!
The lesson is not to get involved in a drama on ABC, because they will let you down. See also: Commander In Chief; The Nine.
But isn’t it better to have watched and lost then never to have watched at all?
Speaking of Groundhog Day wannabes, anyone see the promo for “Christmas Do-over” starring Jay “I was almost famous for like five minutes” Mohr?
It’s official, Hollywood is out of ideas.
Greg: I just think it’s always better to watch LOST, period.
