I hear ya Alicia, one of the biggest issues that we have in our home is that I can't get a good E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES chant out of Selena.

Not one mention of mixed-sports-rivalry marriages? A Yankees-Red Sox alliance? Or a Skins-Dallas union. That needs to be seriously sorted out. I mean, I would totally be disowned if I ever brought a Giants fan home to my silver-and-green Eagles fan parents!

I mean, I guess it could go under "spiritual beliefs" but really, I think it deserves its own heading.

I agree things like this should be discussed, but once you actually get married you realize that some things that you thought you knew the answer to were completely off. Especially the whole annoying in law thing, at least for me, I learned alot that I didn't want to learn about both sets of parents in our first year of marriage. For instance, I thought my parents or all parents for that matter knew everything and were right about most things. I quickly learned that was not the case with either set of parents and that we were actually more responsible about minor things than they were. It was a very eye opening first year, which laid a lot of ground work for the following years and especially when we had kids.

As to what I would have asked prior to getting married: Is my partner going to annoy/gross me out by leaving wrappers and fingernail clippings around?
