It has taken me a long, long time and my apologies. Finally, a bracket that will help us determine Greg’s #1 female celebrity!
Here’s how I put it together:
- The ladies are grouped together based on similar traits. There is the bubble-gum pop section, the more “mature” section, the bombshell “Baywatch” type section, the indie, artsy flick chick and of course, the international section, slightly heavy on the Asians because…well…Greg does have a type!
- I’ve incorporated (hopefully, but you can cross check me) every woman that was mentioned from the comments section of the original top five post.
- The rest of the spots are filled by women who I have heard Greg mention are hot. So if you’re wondering WTF at a certain choice in the bracket, that’s why. However, I find that Greg has pretty good taste overall. Minus Heather Graham. Yick.
- My system wasn’t fool proof, so I do have to say there is the hodge podge bracket where ladies get paired off and it doesn’t make a lick of sense.
So that’s it! Now it’s time to focus on the male options for bracket #2. So post those suggestions, and tell us who your #1 female gay/straight celebrity crush is!

This is completely insane and I love it.
This is terrific Selena. My only issue is that there are some really really good first round matchups… matches that could have met in the elite eight or final four possibly.
I agree with Greg’s comment. How could you match up Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie!? There should have been some sort of seeding.
The more I think about it though, if it was seeded, it would be a lot easier. By putting people who are similar together in the early rounds, Selena has forced us not to just allow one “type” to make it to the finals. I kinda like it, actually.
Oh this is so hard! Kate Winslet vs. Scarlett Johanssen! Is there no room for a tie?!?

More important than how could Charlize and Angelina be matched up (no contest for me), how could Greg not pick Angelina?! And pass on Eliza… Greg, for shame.
In a Charlize/Angelina match up, there’s no contest in my opinion. As Tina Fey once said, “You know, I used to have a futon like that in college. Except I didn’t use it as my lips!”

As a side note, I realized I didn’t know half the people on the right hand side… until I looked them up- then, damn, was it hard!
Also, I didn’t know who half of the ethnic group were until I looked them up either. But, then that got kind of difficult too… weird. I must be racist. I never realized…
