One good way to get closer to the right choice is to weed out the wrong ones.  That’s the premisve behind this new series here at “Greg and Selena…” called: “This Will Not Be At Our Wedding”. The inaugural edition will dive into the primary marketing angle Theatre of the Sea (in Islamorada, FL) provides for having your ceremony with them… dolphins escorts.

“Theater of the Sea offers a tropical setting like no other, not only anexotic atmosphere, but also opportunities to include majestic dolphins as part of your ceremony. Have our dolphins accompany you as you arriveat the altar by means of our unique sweetheart float.”

Here’s the accompanying photo:

Might as well just nip this in the bud, our guest list is looming large enough already without Flipper and Skipper splashing Selena while she wades on the SS Wedding March.

Sorry Theatre of the Sea and dolphin escorts, you will not be at our wedding.

How exactly does the bride navigate getting in and out of the sweetheart float? Is it supposed to float from one place to another, or is the bride just stuck floating around in the middle of the big pool until something happens? Is there a rudder, or do you think the dolphins nudge her along?

Clearly, I’m mystified by the logistics of this!

    I must say I’m a bit disappointed I won’t see this.

Are you sure you won’t consider a scaled-down version? Field mice, perhaps?

Oh my god!!!!! That is the best idea ever!!! Of course, Slena would need to get over her fear of water first, and Greg would need to get over his fear of Dolphins.
