This came in from my Aunt who always is in top of the best deals. If I understand correctly, the airline USA3000 runs limited flights between Philadelphia (PHL) and Newark (EWR) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). They are currently having a special on Wednesday one-way flights, using the promo code “travelzoo”. So, if you were thinking of coming in the Wednesday prior, as we are, then this could maybe be a good deal.

For my money, there is no better online travel site than kayak.com, which searches just about everywhere for the best prices, but it seldom displays promotions and I have never seen USA3000 listed, so this may be a hidden gem worth looking into if the dates line up.

Bobby and I flew on USA3000 to Bermuda around 3 years ago and liked it. It actually gave out food for FREE. Nothing fancy though… just a decent sandwich like turkey or ham and snacks with it, but it was just nice to have free food on a plane like the olden days (geez…that made me feel old!). I would definitely suggest it for the not so picky people because I don’t think they offer first or business class.

Good to know. Thanks, Helen. I had never heard of this airline before. I’ll have to keep an eye on them from now on.

I heart US3000! Apple Vacations uses them for their trips. They seem to use bigger planes than other airlines. We long-legged people appreciate that!

I flew to Bermuda from BWI on USA3000 — the people were SO nice. The flight attendants actually remembered me and asked how our trip was, etc etc.
