Happy Birthday Selena!

Way back in the late 90s when we first started dating, Selena told me that she didn’t think she wanted to get married until she was the age she turned today. She wanted a little time to move home and get things together, then live on her own with a roommate for a while before settling down.

I, of course, scoffed at this saying, “Well if you are waiting until, what 2007, it won’t be me your marrying. I’m not gonna be dating eight years before getting married, that’s just crazy.”

In three months and three days, my brash assertion will be proven wrong, while Selena will be right on track with her grand plan.
