So, if you are not reading this via RSS feed (which we do encourage, you can subscribe here) then you probably noticed the new site design. This is one of the reasons we switched this blog from Blogger to WordPress last year, in order to have more creative control over the blog, something pretty important to a pair of designers.
This redesign actually stemmed from a very trivial element. It was difficult to see a link on the page in the old design. This became apparent when I wrote up the extensive Year in Review post. I published the post and realized that effort of linking up to all the previous posts would go unnoticed. I needed to change that. Combine that necessity with my desires to include a picture of us on our blog and better incorporate our branded colors (green and brown), and this new design was born.

Dear blogmaster…
I seem to have a sense about when to check this and find new postings to satisfy my curiosities… but now I need help!!
Maybe it’s because I’m a loser and am not reading this by RSS feed (or because I’m techi-capped and don’t necessarily know what that means…) but I can’t even read up on the importance of correcting this because the new formatting seems to have exploded on my screen and it’s gone all screwy!
Please help, as I need my G/S fix, and the big pic (though lovely) is blocking half of the words in your top post… And, well, basically it looks like there is no margin between your headers (pic and logo) and the top posting. At least on my screen… they’re overlapping. Sad times!

I love your blog and think it’s very pretty. I am super impressed that you were able to coordinate your wedding stationary and your blog. Is your house green and brown too? Do you have your little logo on your toothbrushes? amazing.
Help! I have the exploding big pic disease, too! It’s a beautiful picture, but I kinda want to read the words too.
I’m surprised that two of our biggest contributors, two avid web users are still using IE6. You guys are not boring at all, you need to rise up and download Firefox.
Oh, and I fixed the error with the layout, so that site should look good in IE6 now too.
Thanks!
Perhaps I’ll ‘rise up’ when the AIG (read FBI) won’t be able to hunt me down for hijacking their bandwidth!
Oh- I didn’t notice this at first, and forgot to mention yesterday, but…
Also, the 3 links at the top of the site are not working either- it just gives a cursor when I mouse over them, but cannot click (Our Blog, Our Story, Our Photos)
Sorry!
Your official IE6 lab rat : )
