I ripped it off the site, no more green and brown, no more G and S logo, it’s all gone… forever, actually not forever, for 24 hours.
It’s CSS Naked Day today. That means web geeks like me go under the hood of our websites and strip off all the styling. The idea is that if you built the site well, then the content should remain completely accessible even though the look and branding of the site are gone. It’s only for a day. Tomorrow the familiar branding and images will be back.
UPDATE 4/10: CSS Naked Day has come and gone and the site is back to the fully styled version.
strange…ye olde schoole…if I tried it…I’d probably delete my entire site…bad!
Hmm… yeah, what happens if you find out you did not build it well?
Oopsies!
p.s. ick- I hate this… I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that I like watching pretty people on tv, and now apparently pretty websites as well.
But, it seems to still be functioning perfectly, so good job!
shallow kitty : P
If you did not build your site well then the web design community will all point our fingers in your direction and laugh at you.
No, actually if you weren’t confident about your site you probably wouldn’t participate, I was sure this site was built well because I recently did a validation check on it before I submitted it for consideration to a number of online galleries of the best web sites.
Which suddenly alarms me, I hope those gallery sites I have not yet heard from don’t come to check out this site today to see if its worthy of submission as one of the best designed sites online.
I want an anime or manga or whatever of “Shallow Kitty.”
Ooh- create one!!
