Every Mother’s Day, the Robleto family has a tradition of putting in a day’s worth of manual labor on whatever project mom wants. This year’s project was the garage. Here’s a photo of work in progress:
Imagine my excitement when I found that Greg had a huge pile stashed in his mom’s home as well. Things that rivaled a Brandon Walsh 90210 pillow. Things that justified keeping my Happy Meal toy collection. Things that gave me lots of fun images in response to this post.
Here’s Greg’s car as we were loading it up:
Here’s our home when everything was moved in:
Here’s where Jessica hangs out now
This story also has a happy ending. With the exception of just a few more boxes, Greg and I are now almost completely moved out of our parents’ homes!

So, Greg, what was the occasion when you got yourself a cut-out Jessica Rabbit? Did she adorn the room of teenage Greg for all those years???
It’s kind of sad: I’ve had my own house for over seven years, and I’m still not completely moved out of my parents’ house.
Paul, if it makes you feel any better, I’ve been out of my home for almost six years, and Greg’s been moved out since college! (That’s about 10-12 years!)
