So Charlie and I face the same battle. I could go to Costco a few times a month and be just fine whereas he would rather shave an ill-tempered muskrat.

Come on, how can you not love getting your organic milk and car batteries in the same place (and don’t even get me started on those gigantic muffins)!

You say four pounds of raisins like it is a bad thing?!?! They are an addiction. But they are the only chocolate we keep in the house because they are theoretically healthy. Unless you eat all four pounds in one sitting.
And Greg, you could absolutely have the bachelor’s party at Costco. They sell booze and food, have comfy furniture and very large tvs. Sounds like a bar to me.

I can attest to that! I sometimes see those raisins in my sleep. They are heavenly. But you have to get like, 4 lbs. of them at a time.

I love costco…and I HATE shopping alone. I need at least one other family member and I would much rather shop once a week (although I’m not terribly good at the planning meals thing just yet–working on it).

btw, I recently learned that one of my super-rich board members shops at Costco. He says that’s where the best chocolate-covered raisins are. ?!?

Sweet, so Duke for your bachelor party, we are just going to get all the guys together and go shopping at COSTCO. The debauchery we were planning would have been grand, but if you love COSTCO, then the agenda is set. Thanks buddy.

The other major issue I have with COSTCO, is that when Selena and I buy it bulk, we typically don’t put room to put the bulk items away in our condo, so they end up just stacked in their bulk boxes in the corner of the dining room instead of in the pantry where food products belong.

COSTCO is so crowded. There is just not enough room so you have to be quick. But when we shop, sometimes we aren’t. So, while Selena is contemplating whether she wants to buy the four pounds of bacon, I am typically with the cart trying to calm the four people behind me who want me to move already because they can’t get to their shopping done.

Costco is an AWESOME place for meats and produce, I’ve discovered. And their party platters are awesome.
