Looks like in saving as images for the blog the numbers fell off the Disney Parks and the labels came off the drinks consumed. I’ll have to see if I can fix that.
Thanks everyone, I got a lot of good feedback from the Fool and the open invitation to write again whenever I have something to say about a company we cover. Very excited to have gotten this opportunity.
@kitty – it really is everywhere isn’t it? That’s the cool thing about learning about public companies like Hasbro, is seeing their reach, it can be really astounding sometimes.
That is true, Selena, I did have a fairly limited range of mobility. But, I factored in the important limitations and made sure I was able to get my cup-holding hand around to my lips.
Thanks Stef, thanks Katie. I actually liked DownEscalator’s opposing viewpoint. I’m used to reading comments on the Fool boards (regarding our site design) like “Everything you do is awful” so a above-board exchange of opinions is kinda refreshing.
Yes, this is where we found a nest earlier in the year, and it looked like the lovebirds were coming back to play house again, so I forked up their plans.
There is a perfectly good explanation for this. It has to do with those little brown spots in front of the tiny pots in the bottom center of the picture.
The problem with the current fallout shelter plan (the attic) is it is unbearably hot up there and there are no facilities. The second problem with it is that I just told everyone what our secret fallout shelter plan was. Doh!
@dancerindc, that would be awesome. I was talking to the owner of Newark, DE based game store Days of Knights, and telling him how I was game testing with Riener Knizia last weekend and you would have thought I told him I had a meeting in the Oval Office, he seemed just that impressed.
This post is more cryptic than the actual “Representatives” were because I only mentioned text and accountability one or two times, where they were saying it in different ways over and over again until you couldn’t help but hear “text accountability”.
Whoops, I had posted this for Selena and mispelled Austen as Austin in the title and caption. All fixed now, but if you see that in your RSS feed, know that that was Greg attributing her to being a relative of Stone Cold Steve Austin, and not Selena misspelling.
Good thinking Kitty, I was able to pull Selena’s latest two posts from the RSS feed and repost them. The comments are lost, but at least the posts can be brought back.
That’s the one downside, Stef, is the coldness of this method. I really wanted WALL-E to win, but learned last year that wanting Atonement to win cost me the top spot in another pool, so I tried to keep emotion out of it this year.

Greg and Selena plus one
October 22nd, 2009 at 1:50 pm@judy – I like some of those nicknames… Hobbes is great, I loved Calvin and Hobbes.
@alex – please don’t steal our unborn child.
@jenny – wait, I thought you were the Good Asian
@jason – it’s scary how well you know Joy Luck Club
@erich – *sigh* thanks
@michelle – Yes, we are selfishly looking for attractive and funny, double threat!
and to everyone else, thanks so much for all the well wishes.

Should we buy this? Using the Stranger Test
September 24th, 2009 at 4:14 pmHilarious kitty. No, we forgot to consider the stranger test at all when we impulse bought our puppy.
What the fork?

Our new puppy
September 24th, 2009 at 4:11 pm@kathy, that’s pretty tempting. Is Bill house-broken or does he poo on the kitchen floor?
Our new puppy
September 24th, 2009 at 2:18 pm@jim, while we don’t have a name nailed down, we are sure her number is 44.
Our new puppy
September 24th, 2009 at 12:32 pmI don’t think the puppy blinks fast or frequently enough to be Bella, nor does her fur sparkle enough to be Edward (or some female equivalent).

Game Testing with Riener
May 24th, 2009 at 8:05 pm@Selena, that would be so awesome, I hope you are right.

We have our tee-shirts contest winners.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:52 amI do feel bad for you Bill. Your pick was close, but it lost by 7 points.
The Geek Theory continued
March 21st, 2009 at 10:05 amReturn of the Jedi is the best of the original trilogy? You have a long way to go to be a real geek.

How to win an Oscar Pool
February 24th, 2009 at 10:57 am9 out of 11 is really good, that would have probably vied for the top spot in our pool if you kept up that streak. I got 19 out of 24.
Organization to the extreme?
February 3rd, 2009 at 10:52 amPS. I wish I had video of Selena’s pantomime of me printing out the label “Air” and then trying to label the air around me. It was hil-AIR-e-ous.
